Virtual Science Festival

As a result of the pandemic, I created a website that could host the great virtual asynchronous outreach projects that were being developed across Penn State and several local organizations. The site continues to grow and has had over 10,000 unique visitors.

The Virtual Science Festival is a free virtual resource that features dozens of Penn State scientists sharing video demonstrations and activities that you can try at home or in your classroom! The site launched on October 25, 2020 with the help of several volunteers and contributing organizations.

In addition, this online resource serves as a repository for fun STEM videos, engaging DIY science activities, and other educational resources for parents, teachers, and kids alike as new content continues to be added regularly.
